The Withdrawal Problem Nobody Warns You About
Every Pakistani trader learns the deposit path fast. Then they hit their first profit, request a withdrawal, and… the money doesn't move, the broker asks for extra documents, or the bank flags the incoming transfer. This guide fixes all of that.
The Golden Rule: Withdraw the Way You Deposited
Anti-money-laundering rules at every regulated broker force this: your withdrawal method must match your deposit method for at least the deposit amount. Only profits can go to a different channel.
Example: deposit $200 via JazzCash → first $200 withdraws back to JazzCash. Any additional $500 profit can withdraw to bank IBAN, crypto, or a different channel.
Method 1: JazzCash / Easypaisa Withdrawal
Best for: Amounts up to ~50,000 PKR, fast turnaround.
Steps:
- Broker Personal Area → Withdraw → pick Online Banking (Pakistan) / IB payment method.
- Enter your JazzCash/Easypaisa number registered under your own CNIC.
- Amount in USD; PKR conversion happens at IB layer.
- Confirm via email/SMS OTP.
- Money arrives in 15 minutes – 3 hours.
Fees: Usually 0–1% (spread-based).
Method 2: Bank Transfer (IBAN)
Best for: Amounts above 50,000 PKR, monthly withdrawals, income you want traceable.
Steps:
- Personal Area → Withdraw → pick Bank Wire (Pakistan) or IB bank transfer.
- Enter your own bank IBAN (Meezan, HBL, UBL, Faysal, etc.).
- Beneficiary name must exactly match your Exness/IC Markets account name.
- Purpose code (some brokers ask): "Business services" or "IT export services".
- Arrives in 1–3 business days.
Fees: 0–500 PKR depending on IB.
Method 3: Crypto Withdrawal (USDT TRC20)
Best for: Large amounts, IC Markets users, avoiding IB spread.
Steps:
- On Binance: create a USDT deposit address (TRC20).
- In broker Personal Area → Withdraw → Crypto → USDT TRC20.
- Paste your Binance deposit address exactly.
- Confirm.
- Arrives in 5–30 minutes.
- Convert USDT → PKR via Binance P2P.
Fees: ~1 USDT network fee.
Documentation — Keep Everything
The single biggest reason Pakistani forex withdrawals get flagged is missing source-of-funds documentation when a bank asks. Keep for 7 years:
- Every deposit screenshot with date + transaction ID.
- Every trading statement from MT5 (right-click account → Save as Detailed Statement).
- Every withdrawal confirmation.
- Bank inward remittance advice (bank sends this for large IBAN transfers).
Handling Bank Questions
Sometimes your bank will call and ask about a large incoming transfer. Answer plainly:
- What's this? "Income from freelance / consultancy / IT-related services."
- Do you have a tax record? "Yes, I declare this as business income" (see our forex tax guide for Pakistan).
- Source? Show MT5 statement + broker deposit history.
Banks aren't the enemy — they just need a paper trail to satisfy SBP's incoming-remittance rules.
What Not To Do
- Don't withdraw to a family member's account (broker will reject or freeze).
- Don't split one withdrawal into 20 small ones to "avoid attention" — this actually triggers red flags.
- Don't use unregulated hawala for withdrawal. Ever.
- Don't withdraw before your KYC is fully approved (rejected accounts lose everything to fees).
Recommended Withdrawal Cadence
For active traders:
- Weekly withdrawal of 25–50% of profits — reduces psychological pressure, builds a documented income trail, keeps the account at a stable size.
- Leave the rest to compound.
Ready to Withdraw?
If you haven't yet: read our Exness Pakistan setup guide to make sure your account KYC is bulletproof, then run every profitable month through the withdrawal steps above.
Documented withdrawals = long-term trading career. Skipping the paperwork = frozen accounts and difficult conversations later. Do it right from day one.
Quick answer
